Description
Gosh lately I don't feel like doing digital art no matter the subject. It's summer now and this is usually when I go into art block. I'm trying to fight it but sketching is easy at least. I should keep this up. Ok so made some more sketches of the stuff I'm into right now.
1. A cute budgie. I drew this last actually no he wasn't supposed to be on his shoulder it just worked out badly that way. I had to fill that corner with something.
2. Ok at last I have drawn Bologoth the main villain of my story. I didn't do so great for the first time but for some reason when I do just boring standing poses I can't. But once I put him in action doing stuff I'm sure he'll be fine. He's not hard really but he's very muscular and it's hard for me to add mass when I'm used to skinny characters. Anyway, there he is Mr. Ugly Demon. I so hate Hell knights.
3. Big scene. Bologoth chases Pyranax into a narrow canyon. Luckily the big guy can't fit and follower him but it's still scary as he sticks his hand in there and tries to grab Pyranax who's both angry and scared at the same time. He wishes he could do damage to the big brute. Would be perfect to rake his claws down his ugly face but too risky to get grabbed. And now I get to complain that the Doom demons only have four fingers on their hands. Why? I don't like four fingers. I'm tempted to draw them with five but then they wouldn't be accurate. At least Doom Guy has five fingers like he should. Anyway Bologoth yells at him "Get back here you little bastard!" You know monsters with flat teeth can be just as scary as those with sharp teeth. That's Bologoth.
4. Scary Fear. I haven't forgotten him. I still love him. I draw him so psychotic looking now. I love it. "This is all my fault. Heh heh." He says. As one of the laws of nature he would be responsible for all the fear everywhere. Pyranax is afraid of his enemies. His enemies are afraid that Pyranix will give away the secrets and if he could become too powerful with his new change. Fear everywhere and Scary Fear literally eats it all up.
5. OMG Pyranax hugs a giant budgie! Where did this budgie come from? There are cute budgies in Hell? WTF? Well I have been saying budgies are true evil for decades now. Who cares it's so cute to see an evil demon hugging a budgie and loving it.
6. Back view of Scary Fear with his raven wings in a neat pose. I should draw the look of that from the front as it's a neat wing pose.
7. Pyranax powering up one of his most powerful moves. He's making a fire tornado/shield. It's only just starting to form around him but it becomes a solid wall of orange so that you can't see him inside. When it goes out it gets hotter and becomes blue as it explodes out away from him. Yeah no other imp can do this. This is part of his change.
8. A side view of a summoner behind Bologoth. I was trying to make use of the whole page this time but because I couldn't fit her in she's not quite right. I'm finding that Summoners are pretty easy for me to draw and I think I can make them very pretty.
Ok not bad. I'm happy with how I filled most of the spaces on this page though some of the art is too big. Had I drawn smaller I could have fit more in. Well lots more demons to practice still.

Bologoth may got a budgie magnet then? Well, it does look funny because it just does not fit together, even if they are separate sketches.

So then, a brawny demon, whose main feature is being very massive. And to be hated. He does not look too bad here, but I assume that the moments of him falling from our grace will eventually come. His smile does have this vibe of brawny, but hardly intelligent to be honest. A jock smile basically.

Yeah, the usual four finger syndrome. A feauture of demons and cartoon characters at times. I always wondered about that sort of thing. So, anyhow, Bologoth is basically now showcasing why his size can be hindersome. He can't get through that crack. Unlike Pyranax, who just went through and is now in relative safety.
4.
And thus we finally have a crossover between Pixar and Doom. Which does show an interesting personality streak, taking the blame for the events but in a manner that says "just as I planned".

The Devil is whom you least expect it to be. Budgies just are perfect for the role. I can imagine that there are flocks of Satanic parakeets flying through the depths of Hell, just to have fun with the poor, unfortunate souls. But anyway, a demon hugging a budgie plush is kind of fun.

Although, from behind it just is creepier if his face is turning at you. It is his thing after all, being frightening and creepy. And the wings just add to it as they keep his frail frame from showing. Though, a front picture would also be cool.

A cool idea for a fire ability. So far one that would make for a cool thing in an Action RPG like Skyrim. Where they got a similar spell as a Master skill, which however usually fails as you get hit and stumble backwards during the animation. This seems more instant and also way more powerful actually.

Well, I do see her face, and I like it actually. It does look female, but also otherworldy, thus fitting the theme, and her head looks cool in this perspective. So, I think the full design should look pretty good.
