I Fear No More

I don't often do this but I love this frame for the short comic Shine In the Dark. So I am posting it before the page is even finished. I have decided to color it though it's actually back tracking for my story Fear Before the Fall.  But this is my favorite frame from the moment I drew it. Inside the mind of Fear the old normal Fear has died because of Anger's abuse. Scary Fear arrives too late to save him.  He is hurt by this and has to control himself to not go crazy.  Instead he gently picks up his old self who is starting to dematerialize.  He gently holds him in his arms careful to not hurt him further with his very dangerous claws.   Like an eagle parent he keeps his claws out of the way when in the nest near delicate eggs and hatchlings.  Scary Fear then takes him deeper into the safety of the mind and the fear realm. Despite it being rare I think it's beautiful to see Scary Fear this angry and gentle at the same time.  It's a lovely scene of self acceptance. The title of this is a part of the lyrics by Stratovarious from the song that inspired this Shine In The Dark.

No siempre hago esto pero me encanta este panal de mi comic Shine In The Dark.  Asi que lo subo antes de terminar la pagina entera. Eh decidido pintar esas pagina aun que van para atras en la historia Fear Before the Fall.  Pero es mi momento preferido.  En la mente de Mideo el Miedo viejo ha muerto por todo el abuso que le ha dado la furia. Miedo Aterrador llega muy tarde para salvarlo. El duele ver esto y se tiene que controlar la rabia. Envez levanta a su forma vieja que empieza a des materialarse.  Lo carga con quidado deo no heriro mas con sus garas. Es como un aguila en el nido que esconde sus garas quando hay huevos y pollitos delicados. Y despues lo mete mas adentro de la mente y so reino de miedo. Aun que es muy raro verlo asi pienso que es una bellesa ver a Miedo Aterrador tan enojado y tan quidadoso al mismo tiempo. Es una escena de aceptearse a uno mismo. Inspirada por la cancion de Stratovarious Shine in the dark.
