My Black Diamond - Gift Art

This is a gift art for   A few months ago he made a gift for me and a very nice little drawing of Spite and Scary Fear meeting.  Spite asked Fear to get rid of Riley's emotions. He didn't care how Fear did it just get rid of everyone and he could do whatever he wanted to the resident Fear in his mind. In return for his favor Scary Fear gets to go back home to Charlie's mind where he belonged.  Scary Fear thought about it and agreed to help for two reason he kept to himself. 1. He'd do anything to get back to his proper host and 2. He's never unleashed his full evil.  He's always had to hold back. In this mind he had no reason to be restrained.  He cared nothing for the beings of this mind. These are the words from Spite that made him decide to do all this.

All I'm asking of you is to introduce a little terror. Make me one scared core memory, and then remove all the emotions from this minds HQ. And as a bonus, you get this minds fear, and you can do what ever you like to him.

Ok after reading the lyrics I now see that this song actually DOES fit this story.  Read carefully and you'll see it's Scary Fear's sick fascination with the trapped Fear in the black diamond. There is no love here like the words might mislead you to think. And you'd think it's a love song but a woman is never mentioned.  Singer doesn't say it's a person. That's the beauty of it. No it's Scary Fear's love of the power this trapped frightened being gives him.  He is fascinated and he remembers being like that but can no longer relate.  He's just an object of his power now.

Ok let me clarify that this is not canon for my story. It's not part of Scary Fear's main story. Riley doesn't even exist in my universe. Also I don't now how you could cross minds without having a Vulcan around to perform a mind meld.  I do want to work that out so if anyone has suggestions let me know. But as an alternate universe story I love the concepts that Joker came up with and I have now finished the story.  Here is what happened. I'm writing this on the fly too so not an example of my best writing.

Scary Fear knew that if the Fear that lived in this mind was anything like he used to be he would be able to gain tremendous fear powers from rather extreme distances.  As he made his way to the pit of the headquarters he could already feel the the fear permeating the air.  Anyone that crossed his path met their demise by their worst fears.  Proteins, imaginary characters, island inhabitants. It did not matter to Scary Fear. Even a simple, "Hello, who are you?" Was responded to with deadly force. The fright from the inhabitants alone was already giving him great strength.  Scary Fear materialized his inky raven wings on his back and took off.  As he flew he spied the train of thought chugging along.  Fear smiled, folded his wings and dove on it.  The engineer never saw it coming as he was drop kicked through the open window and into the burning coals. He screamed as the flames ate away his flesh. Scary Fear smiled and shut the metal door on him. "Thanks for the fuel."  He said then full throttled the engine. Since the tracks were not set he could actually direct where he wanted it to go.  There would be five inhabitants in this HQ and Scary Fear wanted to take them all by surprise.  The train sped on as this evil Fear aimed it right at the windows. 

Inside the Headquarters no one expected the horror that was headed right for them.  The five emotions were busy doing their jobs and watching the eye monitor.  The room suddenly exploded.  Fire, paper, metal and memory spheres flew all around.  Just before the moment of impact Scary Fear leaped out of the engine and watched as the twisting metal exploded into the HQ in a tremendous fireball taking out half of the wall. Black smoke billowed out into the air.  Workers ran around helplessly at the top of the cliff.  There was so much fright coming from all directions that Scary Fear felt almost omnipotent. He gently landed in the opening of the destroyed headquarters and took in the situation.  The five emotions were on their backs or on their stomachs having been caught unaware exactly as he had hopped. He saw Anger sit up pained and rub his head.  Scary Fear screeched an unearthly roar and launched a massive lightning bolt from his chest.  Anger had just enough time to see the monster that had caused this disaster before he was electrocuted.  His body was sent into violent convulsions that trembled him to death.  Scary Fear had to take him out first as he was the biggest threat dazed and injured though he may have been.  He then turned his gaze on the resident Fear.  He had witnessed his friend's demise.  Good.
    "WHAT ARE YOU? WHY DID YOU KILL ANGER?"  He yelled. Scary Fear said nothing. He spread his wings to look more intimidating then sized Fear with his claws.  The cowardly Fear screamed and begged for mercy.  Scary Fear flew him to a wall that was sticking out broken like a ledge and set him there so he would have the best view.  He then heard the groans of the remaining three emotion.  Three knives manifest in his hand.  The resident Fear gasped at the sight of that.
    "LOOK OUT!"  He yelled but it was too late. Scary Fear tossed them.  The first one went right into the center of Sadness's chest as she stood up confused. She didn't even have time to scream as she fell forward driving the knife deeper until it embedded in her.  Joy met a similar fate though her knife hit her right between the eyes.  A thin line of blood trickled down her nose to her chin. She fell against a wall dead with open shocked eyes.  Disgust was the only one to regain her senses and try to run like her Fear had warned.  But it also was in vain.  Her knife went right into her back and she baseball slid on her face, out the broken windows and into the pit.  The cowardly Fear cried as he watched all his friends and coworkers die.
    "WHY DID YOU DO THAT? WHY DID YOU DO THAT?"  He screamed and he pounded Scary Fear with his fists.  Scary Fear blocked him with his arms and snarled as he continued to hover before him.
    "Wouldn't you do anything for your host?"  Is all he said in a calm, nasal resonating voice.  "You're coming with me."  He grabbed Fear by the throat, and threw him back to the ground.  The screen was displaying nothing but white noise at the moment.  Scary Fear pressed the button on the ground with his foot while holding the other Fear by his hair.  He reached in grabbed a sphere at random.
    "No leave the core memories alone!"  Fear begged him. But Scary Fear ignored him.  He emptied a large amount of fright into it turning it a very deep purple.  Inside was a dark nebula.  He held the dark orb in front of Fear.
    "Have you ever seen a Terror Sphere? This one is special. It was a custom order."
    "A terror core memory? NO NO NO!!"  Cried the small Fear but soon he was hoisted into the air again and out the broken wall.


Scary Fear landed on one of the memory shelves in long term and tossed the crying Fear to the ground.  He watched his counterpart back away on all four.  His eyes glowed brighter with sinister anticipation. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a black orb. 
    "GASP! A Spite memory!"  Said the resident Fear.  Silently Scary Fear grabbed Fear and shoved him into the black orb.  He held up his prisoner and watched him cry inside the black ball. 
    "Don't worry. I won't kill you.  You'll be safe inside of there with me always and forever.  You are mine."  With a powerful down stroke Fear shot off into the sky with is precious cargo.  It did not take him long to find Spite sulking around in the shadows of a bad part of town.
    "Here!" Scary Fear said flatly as he tossed the Terror sphere at Spite. "I held up my end of the bargain.  Now I get to keep this creature and you send me home. But before you do I have one final request.  I need you to make this small.  I wish to wear this orb as a necklace.  He shall be an endless source of power for me."
Spite burst out laughing.
"I can't believe you did it! I really thought you'd fail like all the others before you.  I am impressed. Did you kill the others?"  Spite said trying to contain his excitement as he looked at the deep purple core memory."
"Dead as a door nail."   Scary Fear said calmly.  Spite glared at the Terror Sphere and held it in his front tentacles.
"You...you have no idea how happy you've made me."  He said crying one tiny tear. "HEHEH AHAHA HHAHAHAH HAHA !! NA I'm ok. Alright fiend, I'll keep my word. I wouldn't want you as an enemy after all that.  I  mean look what you did to the tower.  Who's your decorator? Alright one tiny Fear necklace coming right up."  Spite said.  And with that he shrank the orb down in his long clawed hands.  When he let it go it materialized with a chain around it. It hovered and placed itself around Scary Fear's neck.  He smiled and looked at it and the entity trapped inside.
    "Pleasure to meet you Spite."  Fear said.
    "The pleasure is all mine."  Spite said and with a final handshake he sent Scary Fear back to his own mind.

I enjoyed coloring this. The hardest thing was figuring a pose for Spite. I couldn't decide to having laughing, crying with happy tears or surprised. ENTP's are good at faking emotions and acting broken up and tears of happiness is something they do well to get attention.  But I settled on surprised. He really didn't think this would work.  I've been wanting to write this story for a while now and draw a scene. I hope you like your gift. I've had a lot of people ask me what would happen if Scary Fear met Riley's Fear. Well here's one possible outcome. HA, I'm so little.
