Hey everyone. Hope you're all having a nice time and had a happy Earth Day.   Things are going very well for me. I am feeling a lot better physically.  My recovery is finally going well. Oh and before I go on I want to say thanks for the comments on my new drawing.  I've got more in the works and some pretty neat stuff. I am a fan of my own works and think some of the new stuff will be very lovely. I just need to find time to work on it.  Real life is still crazy so I'm working on a lot. But yesterday was a great day. We went off and took a boat to Anclote Key and wanted to share some of the lovely pics I took.

   

Got to see a pair of beautiful bald eagles nesting in a tree.  This is a view from the water of Anclote Key's lighthouse. This is a state park you can only get to by boat.  And this is a reddish egret. I'm always very happy when I see these as they are not as common as the other egrets and herons.

   

This tidal flat had a flock of black skimmers facing into the wind. So neat to see so many.  There was a cute small boat next to our boat.  And this is one of the many lovely houses on the way to the island. I actually took this because there is a beautiful Jacaranda tree in the background just starting to bloom.  They become completely purple once they do.  One of my fave flowering trees along with pink Tabebuia. After that we ate at a very nice Greek restaurant.  On the way home we had fun and interesting conversations and grain stormed ideas for my stories and art. I always love that.

Some of you might have noticed I changed my icon. I've been wanting to change for a while. George is one of my fave characters so I moved him here. And I added the new Fear to my other account because he represents me better. Hope this won't confuse you guys too much. I'm still getting used to it too.

The days have been gorgeous and driving around has been really nice lately.  My budgie Bullet is doing well. Feisty as ever she sometimes pics on her mate Sandwich.

I just woke up from an amazing dream that I HAVE to log before I forget it. I was Scary Fear in this dream and I was on a very high mountain top somewhere in Europe.  The stone was more like limestone than granite as it was a darker tan where it was exposed and not a hard grey.  There were trees covering almost everywhere all the way down into the valley below.  I leaped off the cliff and this dream had such an incredible sense of height.  I flew off gracefully into the gorgeous sunny day. Bright blue skies with few clouds. I looked behind me and saw my feet which really gave a sense of being WAY up there.  I wondered if there were any birds around so I looked down below me. I saw corvids that looked like rooks. They had white faces but in my dream they were elongated and strange looking.  I folded my broad raven wings and dove down on one.  He saw me coming and rolled out of the way and then flew beside me.  For a moment I got worried about losing altitude but we were so high up that when I looked down there was still plenty of height.  So I didn't think about that anymore and dove again.  By now I knew it was a dream and had become lucid. I was laughing the whole time totally exhilarated.  The odd thing was I had my own voice so I laughed like myself and didn't sound like Scary Fear.  I had so much fun dropping so hard and chasing these rooks around.  I made a turn around the curve of the valley and ahead saw a lake or a small swamp covered in water plants.  I dove towards that very fast. The plants sailed past me a while and I dipped my tummy through the water leaving a wake.  I pulled up and on the bank far away I saw Chris.  I was still laughing with joy and I flew over him and waved. He was very happy for me that I was having this dream.  Every night before I go to sleep he tells me, "I hope you have great dreams."  So I had him be here to watch me.  But the more I thought and the more things I wanted to try the dream began to destabilize. It's one of the bad things about lucid dreaming.  The last thing I wanted to try was to find a thermal so I could be launched into the air with no effort.  I knew exactly how I wanted it to happen but I had to find one first. I found a grove of trees and decided to try there but then that's when I lost control of the dream and it moved on to something else.  Still it was amazing and was one of the last dreams I had early in the morning so I am still riding high form all of this.  I LOVED it and can't wait to try again tonight.  Oh man I over slept because of it.  I don't like getting up late but this was worth it.

I'm still getting gift art. This is so wonderful.

:thumb654272741: Shadowdagger drew this beautiful drawing of Scary Fear with his favorite pet raven.  I love the coloring on this and the glow of his eye. The raven is great too.  Fear does have a blue eyed raven after all.  I was looking at this drawing last night and wonder if it helped play a part in triggering my dream.


 Perfume doll surprised me with this lovely pic yesterday.  I love how she colored and shaded this drawing of Scary Fear going after normal Fear.  The hair and eyebrows really caught my attention.

So thank you everyone for the lovely gifts.  Seems Christmas is still coming for me.

Watcher clean out is also finished for the start of the year. Anyone that was inactive was removed from watching me. I am happy with the watchers I currently have.

Happy New Year everyone. It's almost here for me in this time zone.  Though this year has mostly been bad with all the stuff still going on for me in real life it still has been very good in many ways and I wish to count those blessings now. Not to mention my New Years celebration today has been very nice.

I have had great health this year. I only had two bouts of bad Fibro in Sept and again in Dec but I feel really good now and am over that.  I have been very healthy this whole year with good energy, good weight, I look very nice the whole year and no pain from my degenerative disk disorder this year.  This has given me the ability to walk more, have more endurance and attempt rock climbing walls again.   I'm very thankful for that.
Great travels.  I went to North Carolina, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten and Haiti this year and it was all amazing and beautiful.  I love traveling and going to beautiful natural places to photograph birds and landscapes.
I bought my first new vehicle this year.  My Jeep Wrangler.  In 2015 I bought my first used car the 93 Camaro.  So that is a major first for sure.  My first cell phone. Took a while to find the right provider and the model that was right for me but now I am loving my new Galaxy S7. And after getting a turquoise case for it I totally love it.
My lovely art is amazing and I have improved all on my own this year.  I have cranked out some amazing pieces this year and also many pieces. Just check out my year in review meme.

I've got tons of ideas and inspiration. I will be making lots of art in the new year I am sure. I've gotten lots of gift art this year I still have to feature some and I know there's more in the works from some friends.  I love how many people love my characters.  It's just awesome they are popular and have a fan following.  As for improving I may do one of those meme's showing like one of my very early drawings to how I draw now.  Maybe.
I have made some great friends this year here on DA.    Though I met Roller and Joker in Dec of 2015 that's close enough to having been 2016. And I met Karyl in Oct 2015 we've had our 1 year anniversary now and usually if people last with me that long and I don't get annoyed in some way then they are good with me for years to come. So  yes out with the bad in with the good.  I have found that bad eggs are always replaced by better  eggs and it's no loss if that happens. Someone better will always come along you just have to be patient.

Ah as for my day today, well Chris and I had one job we went on. It was on the coast and I got to see some nice birds and marine habitats.  We ate at yummy seafood restaurant and just had time we've been needing.  I'm looking forward to tomorrow too though we'll mostly be home. We need to take care of things at home and so long as we're together we're always happy about that.
Ha, Chris is currently playing metal songs from Scary Fear's soundtrack. I love it.  Fireworks are going off early here. So yes we're ready for 2017.  I have a good feeling about this year.

Merry Christmas. Hope everyone' s having a good one.  Mine has gone very well despite still being sick and not having a lot of energy.  Chris and I had a nice day off yesterday and we got some potentially good news.  Please keep praying that the real life stuff goes well for me.  I think all that seems to be coming to an end now. We've been having fun with our new phones.  I got a pretty turquoise cover for mine and got it pretty much customized with all my pretty art now.  I opened one gift early yesterday. It was from Actipton80 and it was a cool Giant Microbe of the Black Death. Loved that.  We watched The Nightmare Before Christmas and I like how the theme song's lyrics fit Scary Fear as well.  And today of course is Christmas.  We watched a movie this morning then we went to visit the family.  I showed my phone to everyone and I had fun talking to my father in law about sharks and boating.  One of the funniest things was we passed by this house that was nicely decorated. They had two giant yellow ducks in the yard in such funny and creative locations. When we left I got pics.  



The last pic is our haul.  Oh forgot to say. We visited Chris's boss yesterday to drop off paperwork and I was thrilled he game me an awesome shark's tooth necklace.  I'll put  wire through it and put it on our tree.  That was a nice unexpected surprise.  Florida is known for its Cenezoic fossils found by diving in rivers.  There are lots of fossil shark teeth if you know where to look for them. It's her character Krohda punching Sadness. I commented on it as to why I liked it so much.  It's so well drawn and has great action. Thank you.  Christmas is another time to be thankful and I am very thankful to have such great friends and family.  I've given out most of my gifts. I'm majorly behind on mailing cards though. I don't think there's any mail tomorrow though so I have one more day to get those in the mail.  I'm working on some gift art too so I will be late on that too but hope I can get those done still.

Let me get the rant out of the way as to why I'm annoyed.  So I've been holding out hoping DA would put the offer back up for Christmas.  Each year it gets worse and worse. Originally it used to be you could buy a gift for another account or yourself and you'd get one free. So if you bought Bob 3 months you get 3 months. If you buy yourself 3 months you get six. This used to be a wonderful thing and it was easy to pay.  I really wanted to buy memberships this year and hoped they'd wise up as in previous years they wouldn't let you do paypal or buy just 3 months.  I talked to one of the staff members last time because I wanted to buy but they were not allowing paypal which is just plain stupid.  But I was told to pay for points with paypal and that worked great.  Well this year I was happy they were doing this again until I went to go pay. Now you only have a choice of 1 month or 3 months.  No option to buy a year.  And of course no paypal still.  I don't like using my debit card here.  So I went to go do what I did last time. I had the points and was checking out and had selected paypal. All went well until I got to the end and they said pay pal not allowed.  Then why was it even an option? Also it say I can't use paypal for Give one Get One. But that's not what I was doing. I was buying points!  Why can you not buy points with paypal when you could before?  So I figured the only way to do it was to use a gift card as I didn't want to use my debit card. So I used a Visa gift card and ordered 3 months for a friend here.  It's pending.  Why is it pending? How long will this take?  It better not be more than 2 days. It should have been instant.  So since that didn't work and I suspect it will not work ever then I am not buying any more memberships as gifts. I was able to buy two but only because I had points already in my account.  So I can't give gifts.  Christmas is screwed this year.  I guess DA doesn't want real money.  So I will try to make gift art for my friends but it will be late if at all as time is something I'm limited on.  And that is why I am grumpy and annoyed today.
EDIT: Ok it seems to be working now.  I'm using a Visa gift card and so far have bought several friends gifts. Almost everyone on my list.  Hope they all go through.

Speaking of gift art though, I have gotten two lovely Christmas gifts already though.

This is a lovely drawing of his character Vice and my Scary Fear scaring Gord with his own phobias. I really like the story Roller came up with.  And it's great Gord ended up stuck on his own chain.  Thank you for this awesome gift.



Another nice gift of Gord being frightened by Scary Fear inside one of his own nightmares. I like the colors and the shading. Well done.  The story was also neat as Fear would toy with people's nightmares where he has unlimited power.   Thank you for the gift. So nice to find that in my inbox.

I know some of you were curious about that light up chick I mentioned. I don't have a pic I took but here is what it looks like.



I've never seen a Christmas decoration like this and it's so cute. I'm so glad Chris bought it for me.  Will have to find somewhere to display it inside. I'm not putting him outside. Don't want him getting dirty or stolen. So he'll be an indoor decoration.

And I want to wish safe travels to my friends going out of town for Christmas and New Years. I'll miss you guys while you are gone and wish you lots of fun and enjoyment on your vacations.
